Ismael Bennacer leaves AC Milan: he goes to Boban

Ismael Bennacer leaves AC Milan, it is now official. The Algerian midfielder, on the sidelines of coach Massimiliano Allegri’s project, moves on loan with right of redemption to Dinamo Zagreb, of which Zvonimir Boban is president.

The Croatian club itself announced this via an official note: “We are pleased to announce that Algerian national team and AC Milan midfielder Ismael Bennacer will strengthen the GNK Dinamo squad! Dinamo and AC Milan have reached an agreement for a one-year loan with a buy-back option. Bennacer is on his way to Zagreb, where he will undergo medical examinations before officially signing the contract”.

Ismael Bennacer is an established midfielder with a wealth of experience gained in one of the most competitive leagues in the world. With the AC Milan shirt, he has collected 137 appearances between Serie A and European competitions, and was named the best player of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations before moving from Empoli to the Rossoneri club.

Ismael Bennacer is an accomplished midfielder with a great deal of experience.

With Milan, he won the Scudetto in the 2021/2022 season and played in the Champions League semifinals, after scoring the decisive goal that eliminated Napoli in the quarterfinals.

During his time on loan at Marseille, he played for half the season, distinguishing himself as one of the best players in Ligue 1.
