Jean-Michaël Seri changes teams again

Ivorian midfielder Jean-Michaël Seri has signed a new contract with Maribor, Slovenia. For the 34-year-old player, this is the third club in two years, following his experience in Saudi Arabia with Al-Orobah, where he collected just six appearances last season and achieved little satisfaction.
Maribor finished second in the last Slovenian league, but will not participate in European competitions this season after being eliminated in the Conference League playoffs.
Seri is not a new face to European soccer: between 2015 and 2018 he wore the Nice jersey, winning the Ligue 1’s best African player award in 2017 and entering the ideal eleven of the season.
He later played at Bordeaux and, in his career, was close to a transfer to Barcelona for €40 million, a deal that later fell through. He also played in England and competed in the Champions League with Galatasaray.
