Inter, Cristian Chivu reassures on Lautaro Martinez

Inter Milan coach Cristian Chivu leaves behind controversy and criticism ahead of the challenge with Sassuolo. Here are his words in the eve press conference.

“I have a thousand other things to think about. The noise of the enemies? It’s part of the game, it’s always been topical however I’m going on my way.”

“I’m not looking anyone in the face, I’m caught up in what I have to do to help these guys, convince them that it deserves to be defended because it’s strong.”

“I understand the disappointments but the team had a great year last year, it has attributes, quality, a thousand other adjectives that I don” want to mention.

“Lautaro? Today he trained and made himself available as he had done on Wednesday. A captain has to do this, understand the moments that are not easy”.

“I am glad that Lautaro never tried to back out, on Wednesday he was not even walking but he made himself available. Then he had therapies in two days, today he was better and now he is available.”
