Jannik Sinner, new twist on staff: ready to add a new face

Ahead of the important appointments of the final part of the season, Jannik Sinner is ready for a new turnaround at the staff level, inserting a new physiotherapist into the team that follows him daily. The’clue comes directly from pictures of the blue champion leaving for China, which depict Alejandro Resnicoff, a physiotherapist who has been active on the ATP circuit for more than fifteen years, next to him.
The current world number 2, leading the ATP rankings for 65 consecutive weeks until the last US Open, should therefore rely on Resnicoff after the pre-Wimbledon farewell to Ulises Badio and Marco Panichi and the return to the team of Umberto Ferrara. This new addition to the staff thus represents yet another technical adjustment for Sinner, with the goal of finishing an already satisfactory season in the best possible way, seasoned by the victory of two Grand Slam tournaments, Australian Open and Wimbledon.
The fuoriclasse from Sesto Pusteria is now preparing for a busy schedule to close out 2025 in the best possible way. After losing in the US Open final to Carlos Alcaraz and losing the world throne to the Spaniard of all places, Sinner aims to redeem himself in the last tournaments of the year. The schedule includes the Beijing ATP 500 from Sept. 25 to Oct. 1, followed by the Shanghai Masters 1000 from Oct. 1 to Oct. 12.
Next will be the turn of the very rich Six Kings Slam in Riyadh from Oct. 16 to 19, the ATP 500 in Vienna from Oct. 20 to 26, and the Paris Masters 1000 from Oct. 27 to Nov. 2. The grand finale will be the ATP Finals in Turin from Nov. 9 to 16 and the Davis Cup Finals in Bologna from Nov. 18 to 23, where Sinner together with his teammates will defend the famous “salad bowl” won in 2023 and 2024.
