Roma immediately runner up in Europa League, big blow in Nice

Gian Piero Gasperini’s Roma got off to the best possible start in the Europa League. Indeed, in the first day the Giallorossi managed to impose 2-1 at home of Nice.
The first half was stingy with emotions, except for a goal cancelled out to Mancini for offside, but in the second half the music changed with the entrance of the derby hero.
Pellegrini’s insertion proved decisive and not only for the’assist from the crossbar for Ndicka’s go-ahead goal. Three minutes later Gianluca Mancini himself doubled it by taking advantage of Tsimikas’s great work.
In the final Pisilli risked spoiling everything by giving away the penalty shot converted by Moffi in the’1-2, which, however, was also the final result.
