It lasted only one hour and 20 minutes for Lucia Bronzetti’s participation in the WTA 1000 on the concrete in Beijing. The 26-year-old from Romagna, world number 73, was beaten with a score of 6-4 6-1 by Russian Kamilla Rakhimova, number 89.

Two breaks in the first two games, the first being in favor of Bronzetti who then, however, went down 1-4. Lucia recovers at 4-4 but as she is serving to stay in the set at 4-5 she loses the serve again and also the partial.

The second set is dominated by Rakhimova, who flies to 5-0 with double break and does not give the slightest chance to recover to the Italian, closing the practice at the second match point.
