The ankle still hurts and Carlos Alcaraz decided to skip today’s training on the eve of the round of 16 of the ATP 500 in Tokyo.

The world No. 1, according to Marca, news reported by Ansa, preferred to stay at rest after the discomfort suffered Thursday in the first-round match he won over Argentina&#8217s Sebastian Baez.

Alcaraz, who relied on his physiotherapist Juanjo Moreno, decided not to overload the still sore part in order to recover as best as possible ahead of the match against Belgian Zizou Bergs.
