Rieti takes action after violent verbal attack on Franco Ciani

Through a note the RSR Sebastiani Rieti made some clarifications regarding what happened during the post-game press conference with Avellino, which had great relevance for the tones (“Shame on you, you sucked” and more) with which a person addressed the coach of the Lazio team, Franco Ciani, who showed exemplary in his reaction.
“The philosophy of our society, in the field of communication, has always been to give space to everyone, especially when it comes to interventions by journalists regularly registered with the Order, without any censorship. Having made this necessary premise, the invitation is that we always remain within certain boundaries, that of respect for the work of the coach, his staff and the entire society. Statements are public, and everyone assumes responsibility for what is stated.”
“It should also be noted that there was no desire on the part of the company to “censor” any response from the coach for the same principle expressed above, but the journalist’s leaving the room led to the decision not to follow up on the tense moment that had inevitably arisen.
The journalist in question then privately apologized to the coach and the club, having realized that he was wrong. A gesture that as a club we appreciate, with the hope that episodes like these can be avoided in the future.”
“We remain open to any form of dialogue and clarification, should the need arise, as we have always done at the communication level since our inception.”
