Archived with a loss in the semifinals against Brescia to participate in the 2025 Italian Supercup, Dolomiti Energia Trentino is working to redeem itself in the Wednesday, Oct. 1 game against Bourg-en-Bresse, in the season opener in the Eurocup, and in the Sunday, Oct. 5 game against newly promoted Cantù in the league. Both games will be played at the BTS Arena in Trento.

“On Wednesday we will face Bourg, a team that is physical and very aggressive on both sides of the court– explained Fabio Bongi, assistant coach to Massimo Cancellieri at Aquila Basket Trento, at the match presentation.

They have in their point guard Darius McGhee a player of great leadership and with many points in his hands, and they can count on size elements such as Mokoka, Lindo, Gach and Kokila”.

“From the bench, they also bring energy and players with great European experience– added the bianconero coach -For us, it will be a complicated game, which will teach us a lot: we need to accumulate experience and keep playing together to cement this group and become a solid and reliable team in the shortest possible time”.

Trento will have the chance not to move from home for the championship game against Cantù, a challenge not to be underestimated against a reality that has found the maximum championship again after the victory in the A2 playoffs last season against Rimini, which put an end to a period of purgatory in the second division that lasted four years.
