Cantù mega fine, including for chants dedicated to Matteo Da Ros

Sportal.it

The Sports Judge has imposed a heavy fine (4,000.00 euros) on Pallacanestro Cantù after reviewing the report on the match played and won Sunday by the Brianzoli (90-85 after an overtime with an unmitigated Xavier Sneed from 34 points) with Apu Udine.

The measure, reads the note issued by the Italian Basketball Federation, was triggered for behavior aimed at disrupting the regular course of the game (use of whistles) despite the invitation addressed to the public to desist from such behavior and for collective and frequent insults and threats against a well-identified member (former biancoblu Matteo Da Ros, ed.)

.

A reprimand, on the other hand, came to Trapani for relevant irregularities in mandatory equipment (end-of-game siren, substitutions, inaudible time out).
