After his success in the Athens tournament, tournament number 101 won in his career, and his decision to renounce participation in the ATP Finals in Turin, Novak Djokovic now seems certain of his last real goal as a professional: to confirm also in Los Angeles the Olympic gold medal he won in Paris in 2024, beating Carlos Alcaraz in the final.

Talking to the Serbian media on the sidelines of the Athens success, Djokovic said, bluntly: “Throughout my career I have given myself specific goals, working on how to achieve them. I have achieved virtually all of them, but I want to keep playing. I have already talked about my intention to play in the Olympic Games in Los Angeles in 2028, finishing there representing Serbia would be nice”.

“Clearly, at this point in my career there are conditions that I do not have completely under control. To get to that point, I have to continue to preserve myself physically” added Nole, who has missed several events this season precisely to avoid injuries and physical issues.

Novak Djokovic discusses Jannik Sinner: “He has a cloud that will always follow him.”

The statements follow Djokovic&#8217s own release about Jannik Sinner, who in an interview with Piers Morgan spoke about the so-called “Clostebol&#8221 case; explaining that, in his opinion, “it&#8220is a cloud that will follow him forever, just like the anti-Covid vaccine talk will follow me”. Words that have rekindled discussion on the subject among enthusiasts and insiders alike.
