Lazio privateer at Marassi, Genoa still last in the standings

The fifth day of Serie A ended Monday evening with Lazio’s 3-0 victory at home to Genoa in the last post-match, played at Luigi Ferraris.
The Biancocelesti, coming off two consecutive knockouts, including the one in the derby, immediately broke the deadlock with a great left-footed shot by Cancellieri and doubled the score on the half-hour mark with Castellanos.
At the beginning of the second half, immediately after a penalty awarded and then revoked to the Ligurians, Zaccagni dropped the tris, finally closing the accounts of a match that was never in disussion.
Lazio thus moved away from the hot part of the standings, while the Grifone remained in the middle of the relegation zone, on 2 points, on a par with Pisa and Lecce.
