Champions League 2025-2026: Inter Milan-Slavia Prague, the likely lineups

Inter hosts Slavia Prague on the second day of the Champions League single group stage. Kickoff at 9 p.m. at the ‘Meazza’. Nerazzurri hunting for confirmations after a convincing win on the ’debut against Ajax, while the Czechs debuted with a draw against Bodo/Glimt.
Chivu is ready to revolutionize the Nerazzurri’s eleven with as many as five changes: Sommer returns between the posts, in defense Acerbi is back from 1′ in midfield Dumfries and Dimarco on the lanes, while Sucic is favored over Mkhitaryan in the role of halfback. The attack, formed by Lautaro Martinez and Thuram, does not change.
Trpisovsky has to deal with an unfit Stanek in goal: ready Markovic to replace him. In defense there’s still Chaloupek with former Torino man Zima. In attack Chory is the only offensive terminal, with Kusej, Cham and Provod in support in the three-quarter.
Probable lineups
Inter (3-5-2): Sommer; Akanji, Acerbi, Bastoni; Dumfries, Barella, Calhanoglu, Sucic, Dimarco; Lautaro, Thuram. All. Chivu
Slavia Prague (4-2-3-1): Markovic; Doudera, Chaloupek, Zima, Mbodji; Zafeiris, Dorley; Kusej, Cham, Provod; Chory. All. Trpisovsky.
