Thanks to a three-set victory over Alex De Minaur (6-3 4-6 6-2), Jannik Sinner clinched his third consecutive final at the Beijing ATP 500, as well as leaving intact his incredible record in direct clashes with the Australian, defeated 11 times out of 11.

“I felt that the level was very high – said the Azure at the end of the match – Lots of spectacular exchanges, lots of chances on both sides. I had my chances in the second set and couldn&#8217t take advantage of them, but he had some too, it was a very balanced match”.

“In the third set I tried to raise my level – added the world number two -. I broke him right away, which gave me confidence to serve better. I am very happy for today. It was a different match than usual against him, very balanced”.

“He served very well at times, with great power and accuracy. He responded very well. I also served very well today, but he was able to neutralize my serve often. He was moving very fast and this court is sometimes quite slow, so he was able to get on more balls. I tried to stay focused and not waste mental energy. It was a really tough match, so I am very happy” the South Tyrolean commented.
