The Lotto Park in Brussels, which normally hosts Anderlecht’s matches, will be the European home of Royale Union Saint Gilloise, a Belgian club that cannot use the Joseph Marien Stadium in Saint Gilles in the Champions League, which cannot accommodate more than 9,400 people. The USG, on the second day of Champions League 2025-2026, will face Newcastle United, looking for its first European points this season.

The Belgian team won by surprise at home to PSV on the first day: in the 3-1 victory last Sept. 16, Promise David, Anouar Ait El Hadj and Kevin Mac Allister scored. All three should again find space in the 3-4-1-2 deployed by coach Sebastien Pocognoli.

On the other hand, the Tyneside Black and Whites want to redeem the defeat in the first round of the League Phase against Barcelona, with Marcus Rashford’s decisive double and Gordon’s goal in the 90′ useful more for statistical purposes than anything else. The 2001-born striker will be one of the three elements of the offensive sector, along with Elanga and Woltemade, in midfield confirmed the blue Sandro Tonali.
