L'Inter looks to Germany for Yann Sommer’s replacement

The Inter management is already looking to the future, particularly with regard to the Nerazzurri goalkeeper. In fact, Yann Sommer, the protagonist so far of a lackluster start to the season, is going to expire his contract at the end of the season and is set to leave Milan.
According to reports from Sky Sport Deutschland, Inter have reportedly set their sights on Noah Atubolu, a 2002-born German goalkeeper owned by Freiburg: a young profile to replace the almost 37-year-old Swiss extreme defender.
Atubolu has a contract with the German club until June 30, 2027, a golden opportunity for the Nerazzurri given that the value of the Nigerian-born goalkeeper’s card will drop starting next summer, precisely when the Viale della Liberazione club will want to sink its teeth in.
Atubolu is not only followed by Inter: there is also the interest of Eintracht Frankfurt on him. His excellent performances have also attracted the attention of Germany coach Julian Nagelsmann, who has called him up for the upcoming matches valid for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
Atubolu is not only being followed by Inter Milan.
