Tiago Djaló prepares for his debut with Juve but already there is reasoning about his future

Tiago Djaló, the Portuguese defender who arrived at Juventus in January, continues to train at the Continassa sports center in preparation for his long-awaited return to the field after more than a year since his injury with the Lille jersey, but his future remains an enigma for the Bianconeri club. Despite the wait for his debut, which could take place in the March 30 match against Lazio, there is no certainty about his future.

Juventus and its medical staff are not rushing: Djaló is training daily to return to optimum form, aware of the support that the club is showing him, starting with the nearly four million euros invested for his transfer, anticipating Inter, which had almost ripped up a pre-agreement with the player for a zero-parameter transfer in June.

According to 'La Gazzetta dello Sport', Juventus is reasoning about the defender’s future prospects. Among the options being considered is a six-month loan to another Serie A team in the early months of 2024/25, to guarantee him continuity and accumulate experience before returning to Turin and trying to win a starting spot after January next year.
