Olimpia Milano: Josh Nebo still in the pits, the nightmare is back

Four games, all played at great intensity, then, against Partizan, a physical problem. Josh Nebo, at that moment, saw again the ghosts of the past. The long red and white player, as confirmed by Olimpia Milano itself, reported a hamstring injury in his right thigh. He will be reevaluated in about 15 days.
A stop that was not really needed. Josh Nebo, in fact, is coming off a season in which, due to injuries, he was mostly left to watch his teammates play.
The numbers don’t lie. Last year, in his first season in the Olimpia Milano jersey, the 28-year-old long American naturalized Slovenian played only 11 games. A pittance, especially considering that, before his arrival in Milan, he had never been seriously injured.
After skipping the European Championships to get fully fit (complete with polemic from the top brass of the Slovenian national team), Josh Nebo got off to a great start, taking home the Italian Supercup by playing a starring role in the final against Leonessa Brescia. This injury just wasn’t needed. Although it is not serious, it is still a blow for the long red and white player who does not want to go back to relive the nightmare of last year’s season. Meanwhile, he will miss, between LBA and Euroleague, eight to nine games and it will not be pleasant.
