Lega Nazionale Dilettanti, on the occasion of World Mental Health Day, which is celebrated every October 10, has launched a new awareness campaign aimed at highlighting the’importance also in the sports context of psychological well-being, a topic increasingly dear to athletes and insiders. The campaign was developed by LND’s Social Responsibility Area together with Serenis, a digital platform dedicated to psychophysical health that offers psychotherapy, psychiatry, online psychological support and nutritional counseling.

“With this initiative, the Amateur League, which relies on the support of Serenis as Mental Health Partner of FIGC-LND, wants to send a clear message: taking care of your mind is as important as training your body – explain the promoters of the initiative’The campaign, which is launched today, will continue throughout the course of the competitive season. It will also involve, through a convention that aims to make it easier to approach therapy, sports clubs and families, in addition to athletes”.

“Football is not only performance, but also listening, support and personal growth– explained Luca De Simoni, coordinator Area CSR Lega Dilettanti – and together with Serenis we are launching a project that focuses on the psychophysical well-being of those who live this sport every day, offering concrete tools to our members and their families, so that talking about mental health becomes natural, on and off the field”.

“We are thrilled to join forces with the National Amateur League for a campaign that focuses on mental and physical wellbeing– added Veronica Castelli, Head of Brand & Creative at Serenis.”

For us, it is essential to reach young athletes and their families in a concrete way, offering accessible tools to deal with daily pressures, on and off the field. Sports is about growth, but emotional challenges should not be ignored. We want to normalize the call for help and make people understand that taking care of their minds is the basis for being well in every aspect of life”.

The initiative includes the opening of a chat on Telegram, moderated by Serenis, with a psychotherapist and a nutritionist, who will offer advice on sports, performance and school. The partnership will also be developed through a program dedicated to coaches and the’organization, in May 2026, of the first Serenis Tournament with an event in Coverciano and a match between FIGC-LND ambassadors and Serenis.
