Great fear for the Nigerian national team, which, en route to Tuesday’s away match against Benin, had to make an emergency landing in Angola following a problem with the plane.

The aircraft was bound for Uyo but, 25 minutes after departure, had to land because of a significant crack on the cockpit windshield. Fortunately, no one was injured; the Nigerian national team’s travel schedule will be slightly delayed.

On the plane were, among others, Atalantino Ademola Lookman and Galatasaray and former Napoli center forward Victor Osimhen. On Friday, the Nigerian national team won 2-1 against Lesotho: Troost-Ekong on a penalty kick and Adams scored.
