Inter Milan soccer club: Henrikh Mkhitaryan will take a few more months before defining his future. This was stated by the Nerazzurri midfielder himself, admitting that the’idea of retirement from soccer at the end of the season is not to be ruled out at the moment. Only when the championship is over, however, will he decide what to do. And the options also include a renewal with the Milanese club, which could even last more than a year.

“I have already said it in the past, and I confirm it today. On the field I always want to give my best. That is why I will make my evaluations at the end of the year. If it is determined that I am still able to give something to Inter, then I will play again. At that point I will extend my contract by one season, maybe even two. If that is not the case, I will retire. And I will do it without regrets, since I will be 37 years old and I have already played so much” said Mkhitaryan at the presentation of his biographical book “My Life Always at the Center”.

Mkhitaryan also spoke about his recent parable at Inter Milan, including Simone Inzaghi’s farewell. “Letting go of a coach you have worked with for three years is always difficult – admitted the Armenian midfielder. He gave us so much, and in particular he gave me so much. With him on the bench I could always play, help the team and give my best knowing that the’coach trusted me”.

In the meantime, in place of Inzaghi, Cristian Chivu arrived at Inter. “The fact that it is difficult to leave a coach with whom you got on well doesn&#8217t mean you don&#8217t have confidence in the person who replaced him. However, the coach is a different person, we have to work hard every day and understand what he asks of us and what he wants from us” concluded Mkhitaryan.
