Milan without peace, Adrien Rabiot heading for a long stop: the Frenchman is just the'last on the list

The balance sheet, in terms of injuries, is very heavy as far as Milan players are concerned: in addition to having to deal with the already confirmed stoppages of Pervis Estupiñán and Alexis Saelemaekers, and Christian Pulisic’s injury in the friendly match between the United States and Australia, Massimiliano Allegri will also have to do without “talisman” Adrien Rabiot, who has suffered a muscle injury.

The Rossoneri club took stock of all the players in the infirmary on Thursday, starting with the Frenchman: “Rabiot – explains the club -has undergone magnetic resonance imaging for the left calf problem reported in the national team: the examination showed an injury of the soleus muscle. The player will be reevaluated in about ten days”. A similar injury to the one suffered by Leao in the Coppa Italia against Bari, which had kept the Portuguese player off the field for 38 days.

“Estupiñán – continued the note – continued therapy on his left ankle needed for the aftermath of the sprain suffered in the national team and then did running work on the field. Saelemaekers trained individually on the field, recovery is progressing positively. Pulisic: scheduled for a checkup on the flexor muscles of the right thigh tomorrow”.

The Livorno coach will therefore have to quickly look for alternatives for the resumption of the championship: on the horizon there are two home matches against Fiorentina and Pisa, two teams in search of heavy points to make up for a lackluster start to the season, while on Oct. 28 there will be the away match in Bergamo with Atalanta and a few days later, on Nov. 2, the San Siro match against Roma. A series of crucial matches to remain at the top of the standings, to be faced, however, without some of the key men.
