Pecco Bagnaia wants to put Indonesia behind him
Pecco Bagnaia tries to put the nightmarish Mandalika weekend behind him and seeks yet another redemption at Phillip Island. “Indonesia let’s leave it aside, it was forgettable, really tough. We know that Australia has to be taken a little bit’ with tongs – says the Ducati rider – it is a track where you have to be okay.”
“If the problems of Indonesia were to occur again, it would be quite complicated. Whereas if we could solve them, it could be a good weekend. Without considering wind and weather conditions, which are always a bit’an unknown here”.
The chase for second place, with the world championship closed won by the currently injured Marc Marquez, remains a goal, albeit a difficult one: “It will depend on the performance of the bike– says Bagnaia -. We have a meeting with the team, I hope they have found the way.”
“Here in Australia, if the front is not stable, the track becomes a nightmare. If we have clarified with Ducati? We talked, but nothing changes. We work for the same team and we have to move forward in the same direction.
