At the end of the goalless draw against Lecce, Sassuolo coach Fabio Grosso pointed the finger at the condition of the turf: “It was a dirty and balanced match, they did something more in the first half and we were better in the second. Over the course of the match we were not very precise but certainly the pitch did not help us, it was definitely not in good condition”.

Eusebio Di Francesco commented on the match this way: “I must say that I liked the team, they did not concede anything to Sassuolo especially in the first half. We lacked in the last meters, we definitely need to look more for the’entrance in the box but we are working on it”.

“Today we were not very qualitative but it is one of those games that an episode could have led to one side or the other. I complimented the boys: we have to support our two strikers, because Camarda scored but Stulic still didn” concluded the Salentines’ helmsman.
