The match between the Blue and the Spaniard is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 18, no earlier than 8 p.m. on the indoor concrete of ‘The Venue’ in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The match, which will follow the final for third and fourth place between Novak Djokovic and Taylor Fritz, will be viewable on Netflix.

There are 15 previous matches between the South Tyrolean and the Murcian, who leads 10-5: the most recent, of course, dates back to the Us Open final, which saw Alcaraz prevail in four sets, avenging Jannik&#8217s victory, also in four sets, at Wimbledon.

Sinner has defeated Alcaraz on four other occasions: in the final at the ATP 250 Umag 2022, in the semifinals at the Masters 1000 Miami 2023 and at the ATP 500 Beijing 2023, and in the round of 16 at Wimbledon itself in 2022.

The world number one also beat Sinner in the epic final of Roland Garros 2025: the Spaniard has won three more times in the final (Masters 1000 Cincinnati 2025, Internazionali d’Italia 2025, ATP 500 Beijing 2024), three times in the semifinals (Roland Garros 2024, Masters 1000 Indian Wells 2024 and 2023), once in the quarterfinals (Us Open 2022) and once in the second round (Masters 1000 Paris 2021).
