GO fit lands in Italy: new center in Turin unveiled

GO fit, a leading international wellness group, lands in Turin, Italy, where it has opened the ‘GO fit Mercato dei Fiori’ center, which will open its doors to the public starting Tuesday, Oct. 21. The project combines urban regeneration, innovation and inclusion, giving back to the community a historic space transformed into a place of shared health and well-being.
The ceremony, attended by CEO Mario Barbosa, Mayor Stefano Lo Russo, strategic partners and media, marks the start of GO fit’s journey in Italy. The company is working to open new centers in Milan and Bologna, and is exploring other cities as part of its expansion plan in the country.
The new center is located at 29 Via Perugia, in the redeveloped spaces of the former Flower Market, from which it takes its name: an iconic place returned to the community as a concrete example of urban regeneration. Where flowers were once exchanged, today a center takes shape that generates value for the city, promoting health, inclusion and sustainability.
“Turin represents for us the ideal starting point to build a new model of urban wellness – said Mario Barbosa, CEO of GO fit -. GO fit Flower Market is a center designed for the city and with the city, where movement becomes a lifestyle and health a shared value”.
“We are really happy to inaugurate today the result of a great intervention, developed in a positive partnership between public and private – the words of the Mayor of the City of Turin Stefano Lo Russo -. A project that has redeveloped a public building that has long been disused, bringing to this area of the city new urban functions aimed at sports, which is an extraordinary vehicle of well-being, health and also sociality”.
GO fit Mercato dei Fiori represents the brand’s first step in Italy: an inclusive, sustainable and accessible wellness model designed to improve the quality of life and strengthen the Turin community. The goal is to create spaces where movement becomes a lifestyle and health a shared value.
