Milan leading Milan: Max Allegri enjoys Rafa Leao and steers clear of the penalty spot

A victory of character, a comeback that earned first place, alone, in the standings (+1 on Inter, Napoli and Roma). Milan disposes of Fiorentina. The Rossoneri people gloat, won over by the ideas of Max Allegri, who is increasingly at the center of the project.

The Diavolo coach, however, is definitely satisfied with how Rafa Leao, who is back from a not easy period, made a difference on the field. The decision to let him kick the decisive penalty was Max Allegri’s own: “I told Leao to shoot, no confusion. He had rehearsed them during the week and had done it well”.

Max Allegri does not get into the controversy that arose after the award, through VAR, of the penalty to Milan (for a foul on Santiago Gimenez): “I didn&#8217t see it. Once they give them to you in your favor, once they give them against you”, the Solomonic thought of the Rossoneri coach who, thanks to that penalty, looks at everything from the’top down in the standings.
