Tremendous mourning for José Callejon, sister Vanesa dies

Serious mourning in the Callejon household. Vanesa Callejon, sister of former Napoli players Jose Maria Callejon and Juanmi Callejon, has died at the age of 47. This was announced by Marbella, a Spanish third division club in which both Callejon brothers played.

“The Marbella Fútbol Club is deeply saddened by the passing of Vanesa Callejón, sister of our former players José and Juanmi Callejón – it says there.

The club would like to express its condolences and support to the family and friends at this very difficult time. Rest in peace”.

Napoli immediately posted a message of’affection for its former striker: “President Aurelio De Laurentiis and the entire SSC Napoli huddle around José Maria Callejon at this time of sorrow for the passing of his dear sister Vanesa”.
