Dusan Vlahovic has ended up on Barcelona’s radar as an option to strengthen the offensive department ahead of the summer, foreseeing Robert Lewandowski’s farewell at the end of the 2025/26 season: the waltz of the forwards also involves AC Milan, which is interested in the experienced Polish bomber, on whom, moreover, competition is very large.

Juventus’ Serbian center forward is in a contractual situation that facilitates his exit. At 25, with a contract expiring in 2026, he is far from a renewal with the Old Lady.

Juventus paid more than 80 million euros for Vlahovic in 2022, picking him up from Fiorentina.

Expectations on him were very high. The high salary and the player’s refusal to accept a reduction also blocked the renewal. Juventus is seriously considering losing him for free in 2026 and is again considering his transfer: in the summer, Milan monitored the situation because Massimiliano Allegri would have liked to coach the Slavic again.

At Camp Nou, the Vlahovic option is being considered to fill the void Lewandowski will leave. His desire for revenge and flair for goal make him an ideal candidate. Barcelona, looking for a reliable center forward for the next technical project, is also considering the possibility of getting him on a zero-parameter basis at the end of his contract, which would be a strategic deal with minimal transfer costs.

Other La Liga clubs have also shown interest in the Serbian, but Barça seems ready to accelerate in 2026 to secure one of the most ambitious shots in the market.

Competition also plays a role: other big European clubs are keeping an eye on the Serbian striker, which could trigger an auction or influence his final choice.
