Alexander Zverev doesn’t hold back after defeat against Jannik Sinner

Alexander Zverev has to bow once again to Jannik Sinner: after a painful defeat in the final of the Australian Open at the beginning of the year, the German tennis player was also bowed out in the last act of the Vienna tournament, after having struggled for a long time on equal terms with the world number two: “Congratulations Jannik. You have been the best player this week and in the last two years you have been virtually unbeatable”.
“Congratulations also to your team. The last two years have been incredible; you are an important part of Jannik’s improvements. Thanks to the crowd, which has been wonderful all week” said Zverev after the match.
“I would like to congratulate Jannik, the level has really been through the roof the last two years. Currently, for me, you are the best player in the world”, said the German tennis player without mincing words.
For Zverev, it is the third consecutive loss against the Blue: now the total balance of their previous record stands at 4-4.
