Vero Volley Monza, Massimo Eccheli doesn’t hide after bad start to season

Two matches and as many defeats, only one set won against six fractions of play conceded to the opponents. Vero Volley Monza’s start to the season is certainly not one to remember, and Massimo Eccheli, coach of the Lombardy lineup, is working to recompose the environment ahead of the third day of the championship, scheduled for Wednesday against Cuneo.
“For us, it will already be a crucial match, we will have to be focused with the’goal of winning– said Eccheli during the presentation of the match -It will be important to reset immediately after last Sunday’s defeat: we will go to make an’analysis on the aspects to be fixed and we will have to put all the heart and determination we can to get a positive result, in front of our audience and for the’inertia of our ranking”.
In the first two matches, Vero Volley Monza lost 3-1 at home to Perugia (22-25, 25-16, 25-23, 25-19 the partials) and 3-0 in Modena (25-19, 25-17, 26-24). The Consortium team is one of three teams still with zero points after two rounds, along with Grottazzolina and Cisterna, and is looking for its first overall success in the season.
The schedule, after the home match against Cuneo, will offer an away derby against Allianz Milano on Sunday, Nov. 2, and then, after the break, another away match, against Trentino, on Sunday, Nov. 16. Vero Volleyball’s goal is to improve on last season’s 11th place finish, with salvation won by a whisker against Prisma Taranto.
