Numia Vero Volleyball Milan, tricky trip to Perugia

The tour de force of Numia Vero Volley Milan continues. Fifth match in the last fifteen days for Egonu and her teammates, who on Thursday, Oct. 30 at 8 p.m., will be protagonists on the Pala Barton Energy court in the challenge against Bartoccini-Mc Restauri Perugia. Just back from the victory with a round 3-0 over Macerata, and from the Fineco Supercup celebration in front of the home crowd, the meneghine set off in the direction of Perugia for another fundamental challenge: goal the three points to chase the first positions in the standings. The Umbrians, strong from their tie-break success in the last round of the championship, will also take the court to try to win precious points.
The match, which can be seen on DAZN and VBTV, marks the tenth confrontation between the two teams, with Milan always prevailing over the Black Angels. Numia will find three familiar faces on the other side of the net, with Turlà and Fiesoli having played in the Milanese ranks for the 2022/2023 season on the sand; lastly, central Mazzaro, who concluded her path in the Consortium youth sector and then played the 2015/2016 sporting year in the A2 Series with the Rosablu colors. No former figures, however, on the Vero Volleyball roster.
It is a renewed Perugia that faces the 2025/2026 season of Serie A1 Tigotà. After the salvation achieved last year, it starts again with coach Giovi on the bench; with him, five athletes confirmed starting with captain Sirressi. Recchia, Bartolini, Gardini and Ricci also remain, flanked in the control booth by new entry Turlà. In place four come Perinelli and Fiesoli, while the opposites are American Williams and Slovenian Markovic. Rounding out the roster are centerbacks Mazzaro, Kump and Lemmens.
