Milan market, looks to France to reinforce attack as early as January

Seven goals in five league games: October has consecrated Joaquin Panichelli as one of the hottest profiles on the European market. The Argentine striker from Strasbourg, who grew up in River Plate, has turned the spotlight on himself with a scoring continuity that has already raised his value from 7 to 12 million euros, according to ‘Transfermarkt’.
The Alsatian club could consider a sale as early as January, in the face of an offer deemed fair. In the front row are the usual Premier League favourites, with Chelsea particularly active, but Milan has also begun to move. The Rossoneri are probing the ground to reinforce an offensive department that has so far struggled to find continuity, between a still-dry Santi Gimenez and a not entirely convincing Christopher Nkunku.
Accordingly, Milan’s interest is confirmed by Martin Guastadisegno, the player’s agent, who spoke to ‘Milan Press’ of contacts “for some time” with the Rossoneri management, although without official offers. The good relations between Furlani, Moncada and the player’s entourage could facilitate the negotiation, but English competition imposes a quick strategy: understanding already now if Strasbourg is willing to sell Panichelli in the winter window could make the difference.
A 2002-year-old native of Cordoba, Panichelli has been in Europe since 2023, when he landed in Spain to wear the Deportivo Alaves jersey. Last season he played on loan at Mirandes, where he scored 20 goals in 40 games in Spain’s second tier. Since this summer he has been at Strasbourg, but his performances hint that the one in Ligue 1 is just one leg of an even more prestigious journey.
