L’Inter plans a restructuring of its midfield in the January repair market: according to reports in La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Nerazzurri are ready to get serious about Morten Frendrup, a 2001 class from Genoa already sought in the past by the Biscione. There is a lack of a level midfielder in the squad available to Cristian Chivu: a gap that will be filled in the winter session.

Frendrup is in his fifth season in Serie A, he is versatile and was among the best matchmakers of the last championship: he corresponds exactly to the identikit that the Nerazzurri market men have drawn up, ready to sink the blow when they find the agreement with the Ligurian club. The player has reportedly already given full readiness for his transfer.

With his arrival at least one element of Chivu’s roster will have to be sold. The suspects are three: Diouf, who arrived in the summer, could be sold on loan to grow; Zielinski could leave if the right offer arrives; and then Frattesi, who has ended up on the sidelines in recent months after Chivu&#8217s arrival and aims to gain more space ahead of Italy&#8217s possible World Cup.
