Thiago Motta returns to Serie A coaching: contacts with a club

Thiago Motta could soon return to coaching in Serie A eight months after his 8-month exoneration with Juventus: according to rumors, the Italobrazilian coach is the number one favorite to take the place of Stefano Pioli, who is increasingly at risk on the Fiorentina bench.
The Viola are penultimate with 4 points, still winless in the league after nine matches, and the home match with Lecce represents a sort of last resort for the former Milan coach, who is in great difficulty.
Thiago Motta leads a shortlist of possible candidates that includes other illustrious names such as Daniele De Rossi, Paolo Vanoli and Alessandro Nesta. Roberto Mancini is also in the running, however, more defiled, as is Raffaele Palladino’s possible return to Florence.
The Gigliati would have already established contacts with several coaches, including Thiago Motta himself, who at the moment is still under contract with Juventus: the Bianconeri, who already have Tudor and Spalletti on their books, are rooting for his signing.
