Monday’s Serie A opened with the first post-match of the tenth day marked by Genoa’s first success in this league.

The Grifone, fresh from Patrick Vieira’s exoneration and with the pair composed of Murgita and Criscito on the bench on an interim basis, in fact won 2-1 at the Mapei Stadium.

The visitors took the lead through Malinovskyi’former Atalanta man Malinovskyi on 18′ but Berardi on 47′ evened the score, giving the impression that the Rossoblù victory would fade this time as well.

In the midst of the recovery, however, Norway&#8217s Ostigard header signed the now almost unhoped-for 2-1 that allowed Genoa to leave the last place in the standings, where Fiorentina now sits.
