Conegliano-Milan, all set for Supercup rematch

Recovery of the fourth day of the Regular Season for Numia Vero Volley Milan, which on Wednesday, November 5 at 8:30 p.m. is expected to face a super challenge against Prosecco Doc A. Carraro Imoco Conegliano.
The match, originally scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 19, was postponed to allow just the two teams to play the Fineco Supercup, won by Milan at the tie break.
A challenge that is ready to give emotions and that marks yet another confrontation – the 43rd – between the teams, which also this year, thanks to rosters full of important names on the national and international scene, are candidates among the pretenders to the title.
Four lengths separate Coach Santarelli’s lineup and Milan, with a full-score victory allowing the latter to stay in the wake of the top positions.
The match, broadcast live on Rai Sport and VBTV, will see as many as six former players take to the Palaverde court, one for Conegliano and five for Milan. Among the yellow-blue ranks it is Nika Daalderop who has worn Numia’s jersey in the last two seasons, while it is Anna Danesi, Paola Egonu, Eleonora Fersino, Emma Cagnin and Khalia Lanier who have played in the colors of the Veneto training.
