Fourth day of League Phase in the Champions League and fourth victory for Inter, which at San Siro, on the day in which the Nerazzurri club became together with Milan the owner of the facility, defeated a tenacious Kairat Almaty 2-1, at the end of a match far more complicated than was expected on the eve.

The Nerazzurri got off to a flash start, and between 10′ and 15′ they came close to taking the lead three times: first Anaberkov was decisive, and then Anaberkov was decisive.

Flash start for the Nerazzurri, who between 10′ and 15′ came close to taking the lead three times: first, Anaberkov was decisive on the close-range strikes by Dimarco and, a few seconds later, by Lautaro Martinez, then Esposito was not accurate with the opponent’s goalkeeper off balance and finally it was again Lautaro who missed the appointment with the goal, shooting high from a good position.

Then, at 19′ the Portuguese referee Branco Godinho awarded a penalty for Inter, for an alleged foul by Arad on Bisseck in offensive projection: the contact, after the on-field-review, was not judged irregular, however, and the penalty was revoked. Inter, except for a couple of opposing actions from a stationary ball, continues to station in the opponent’s half and at 45′ takes the lead: it is Lautaro Martinez the scorer, after collecting and repeating in the net the ball initially rejected by Mrynskiy.

A firm ball, on 55′, gives rise to the Kairat&#8217s unexpected equalizer: the defense forgets about Arad, who beats Sommer with a header to seal the 1-1. Chivu, who at halftime had decided to give Lautaro a rest by inserting Bonny, responded with Sucic in place of Frattesi but it was another Nerazzurri to prove decisive, at 67′: Barella set the tone for the action, Esposito received the pass and served Carlos Augusto, who from the distance mocked the opposing goalkeeper, thus making it 2-1.

The goal was scored by the Nerazzurri, who was the first to score.

In the final, Thuram was seen again, taking over from Esposito at 71′ the Frenchman made himself the protagonist of a couple of interesting actions near the 90′ but the result did not change anymore. Although without overdoing it, Inter wins another three points and remains on full points, waiting for the challenge against Atletico Madrid, at the home of the Colchoneros, after the break, on Nov. 26.
