ATP Finals, Alexander Zverev gets the better of Ben Shelton

World No. 3 Alexander Zverev of Germany beat world No. 6 Ben Shelton of the United States with a score of 6-3 7-6 in the second match of the group dedicated to Bjorn Borg of the ATP Finals in Turin, the one in which Jannik Sinner is included.
The decisive moment of the first set is at 2-2, when Zverev breaks Shelton’s serve at zero and then, at 5-3, makes another break that also wins him the partial at the second consecutive set point.
The second set is breakless, the only break points having Zverev at 2-1 in his favor. In the tie-break, however, the two lose seven out of 14 points on their own serve.
Shelton goes 6-3 but here, in addition to missing three set points, he suffers two more points in a row and Zverev can exult after an hour and 33 minutes of play.
