Serie B 2025-2026: Cesena-Avellino, the probable formations

Cesena-Avellino will face each other at 3 p.m. Sunday for the 12th day of Serie B, with very similar goals. In fact, the two teams are divided by just 4 points, and both hope to have their say in promotion. The Romagnoli, however, in case of victory would reach Monza second in the standings, while the Irpini could enter the playoff zone.

Mignani should opt for a two-pronged Cesena: certainties Blesa and Shpendi. The midfield is very dense, with Castagnetti in the box, Berti and Francesconi on his sides, while Ciervo and Frabotta should act on the two flanks. Ciofi, Zaro, Mangraviti the three defenders in front of Klinsmann.

Biancolino’s Avellino should instead act with the trequartista, Insigne, behind the two strikers Crespi and Biasci. In midfield, Palumbo, Palmiero and Sounas, a four-man back ward.
