Serie B 2025-2026: Pescara-Monza, the likely lineups

Monza arrived last night in the Abruzzo retreat and today, at 5:15 p.m., will take the field at the Stadio Adriatico-Giovanni Cornacchia to face Pescara. An important match: in case of victory, Bianco’s team would rise to first place in the standings.

In Monza, Antov, Forson, Álvarez and Izzo (disqualified) remain unavailable. Good news, however, for the attack: Petagna returns, while Mota – in doubt until the last minute – has been called up and could start from the bench. Up front, it’s going toward the novelty Maric, tried at length in the refinement.

Doubts also on the flanks and in defense: Birindelli and Ciurria are vying for a shirt on the right, while Delli Carri and Lucchesi are in the running to replace Izzo in the center.

In Pescara’s house, the infirmary remains crowded: Tsadjout, Olzer, Merola and Pellacani are out. Coach Vivarini, poised after the latest results, has only decided on the lineup in extremis: Giannini, Squizzato and Brandes are pushing for a starting shirt.
