Parma tile, Zion Suzuki undergoes surgery: two options to replace him

Bad news in the Parma household. Zion Suzuki, who suffered a dislocated fracture of the third finger of his left hand and scaphoid during the match with AC Milan, is heading toward surgery. The Ducal club has not yet announced anything official, but the’hypothesis of surgery is becoming more and more concrete.
The Japanese goalkeeper, as reported in the note of the same club gialloblù, will carry out in the coming days further new specialist consultations but in all probability will be forced to go under the knife to speed up the recovery time that is around three months.
A long stop, then, for Suzuki, which forces coach Carlos Cuesta to have to resort to repairs. The first option is to rely on one of Edoardo Corvi, from Parma, class 2001, and Filippo Rinaldi, from Emilia, class 2002, with the former ahead in the Spanish coach’s hierarchies.
The alternative is to fish for a replacement for the Japanese extreme defender from the free agents market where there is more than one name with a past in Serie A: Rui Patricio, Luigi Sepe, Salvatore Sirigu and Andrea Consigli to name a few.
