Ducati, Tardozzi warns Pecco Bagnaia: "Done everything, now we draw conclusions"

Ducati team manager Davide Tardozzi spoke to Sky’s microphones after the Grand Prix de Portugal.
Once again Pecco Bagnaia disappointed, finishing eighth in Saturday’s Sprint race and crashing on Sunday while fighting for fourth place. With or without Marc Marquez, the Piedmontese rider’s crisis seems to have no end.
“Bagnaia’s speed has never been in question, there is this relationship of non-confidence with the bike that puts him in difficulty” are the words of Davide Tardozzi. “We have done everything to be able to put him back in the condition of last year or the race with Japan”.
“We believe we have done everything, if something is still missing we will have to talk to each other and clarify why and how to come to a conclusion. We can do that even before Valencia, where we hope he can aim for the podium again”, continued the Ducati executive.
Tardozzi also commented on Nicolò Bulega’s debut: “Bulega’s 15th place may seem low but it isn’t. Nicolò handled well, he made a mistake yesterday that affected today”s performance because he didn”t want to make a mistake and he went very cautious”.
