Jorge Martin isn’t giving up ahead of Sepang: “In Malaysia, under the best possible conditions”

The MotoGP’s non-European tour continues in Malaysia, at the Petronas Sepang International Circuit, for the 19th round of the season.
Jorge Martín will travel to Malaysia despite the comminuted fracture of the distal radius he sustained during the sprint race at Phillip Island. The Spanish rider is undergoing the necessary treatment, and his physical condition will be evaluated in the coming days ahead of the Grand Prix.
The Petronas Sepang International Circuit, located about 50 km from Kuala Lumpur, is one of the historic venues on the MotoGP calendar. At 5,540 meters long, it is the second-longest track in the championship and features 15 turns—10 right-handers and 5 left-handers. It is known for its demanding braking zones, particularly the first and last ones, characterized by sharp decelerations with a speed difference of over 200 km/h between initial and final speeds.
“I’m undergoing the necessary treatments to recover from the injury and arrive at Sepang in the best possible condition. It’s impossible to make predictions; we have to assess the situation day by day,” the Spanish rider noted.
