Once again, all eyes are on Manuel Locatelli, who is also not demeriting at Juventus: there has been talk of him being traded to Inter Milan, who would give up Davide Frattesi to the Bianconeri in January, and now we see him at Olympique Marseille, in the court of a coach who has always esteemed him, Roberto De Zerbi.

But let’s go in order. Juventus has set its sights on Luciano Spalletti for the future and will have to do everything possible to meet his demands. In Turin they know that the man from Certaldo is quite demanding and they are already ready to move in the January market.

The priority is to strengthen the midfield: in all his winning teams, Spalletti has always had a regista in front of the defense to set up the game. For now he relies on Locatelli, adapted to the role, but it is not an ideal solution. Quick action is needed.

The first name on the list is Pierre-Emile Højbjerg, now the beacon of Olympique Marseille’s midfield. The negotiation, however, is far from simple: the Dane has a long contract (until 2028) and enjoys the trust of Roberto De Zerbi. But an exchange precisely with Locatelli could sway the Brescia coach.
