Napoli is throwing itself into the fray. Young Belgian outside forward Malick Fofana has become one of the most followed talents in European soccer. Arsenal, Liverpool, Barcelona and now even the partenopei have put him on their radars.

Fofana, born in 2005, currently plays for Lyon, France, and has already scored 25 goals in 74 appearances. He has made a name for himself thanks to his speed, acceleration and great offensive pliancy: qualities that have attracted the interest of the continent’s leading clubs. His contract expiring in June 2028, combined with the transalpine club’s peculiar economic situation, is fueling speculation.

Arsenal and Liverpool have been following the former Gent’s growth for some time, seeing him as both an immediate reinforcement and an investment for the future. The London club wants to bolster the left flank with a quick and unpredictable player, while Liverpool is looking for quality replacements for the offensive exterior.

Barcelona has also made a concrete move, initiating initial contacts with the entourage of the player, who is in the national team of the ‘Red Devils’. Napoli, which has active observers on Ligue 1 and considers Fofana an ideal profile to bring freshness and depth to the offensive phase, has also entered this race. The Neapolitan club is evaluating the operation as strategic, especially in view of possible exits in the coming months.
