Ballacanestro Trieste came back and beat Bertram Derthona Tortona in the rematch of the sixth day of the LBA regular season. At PalaTrieste it ends 91-81 for the red-and-whites who, after a difficult first quarter, overturned the’outcome of the game winning two important points.

“I feel happy after an intense and emotion-filled game – Coach Israel Gonzalez told LBATV microphones at the end of the match -. We have gone from worse times to better times, it is a lesson we have to learn. Our public wants the effort, they want to see our players run in transition, struggle to rebound, struggle on defense”.

“We did one thing very well – added the Spanish coach -: always stay together even if things were not going well, we did not lose our composure, we kept working together, improving our body language”.

“I am very happy because in a game like this it is very difficult to recover against a very good team that is playing very well throughout the season. It is a very valuable victory. Candussi played with a fever, I am happy for him that he did not want to miss given the absences of Brooks and Toscano-Anderson” concluded Gonzalez.
