Although he is no longer very young, 37-year-old Robert Lewandowski continues to be one of the world’s best center forwards. His hunger for goals has not yet been satiated. So much so that Milan is reportedly considering stepping up, in a big way, to dress him in Rossoneri.

As happened with Luka Modric, age is not a problem. The real obstacle is the monster salary that the Polish striker currently receives at Barcelona, namely 20 million euros. The Rossoneri board is reportedly trying to set up a meeting with the player’s entourage to see if and how much would need to be invested to start a negotiation.

From Spain insist that Barcelona has other ideas for the future. Robert Lewandowski’s contract expires in June 2026. There would be the’option of a further one-year renewal but, at the moment, everything would be on stand-by.

The person concerned was very clear about his future from the Polish national team training camp: “Future at Barcelona? I don’t know yet. I still have to figure out what is best for me. For now I am calm, I am in no hurry and, for the moment, I expect nothing” his clear words. In short, we are only at the stage of first contacts.
