Atp Finals: illness during the final between Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz

The Turin Atp Finals was interrupted for several minutes during the first set: a man fell ill at the 2-1 score for Carlos Alcaraz and the’organization suspended the match to allow for rescue.
Medical personnel promptly intervened to rescue the fan while the line judge explained the situation to Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz.
The two exchanged a few words and then performed warm-up exercises to keep their muscles from cooling down. After a few minutes the’man recovered, the supervisor gave the’ok and the challenge continued.

Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz have faced each other five times this year, not counting the Six Kings Slam: four wins by Carlos and one by Jannik at Wimbledon. In total there have been 15 matches between the two, with 10 wins by Alcaraz and 5 by Sinner. The Blue wants to reverse a trend that has seen him consistently defeated on the circuit in 7 of his last 8 matches with his rival (not counting wins in the Six Kings Slam).
