Out of schedule during the first quarterfinal match of Davis Cup 2025 at the Super Tennis Arena in BolognaFiere: a spectator sitting in the front row interrupted the game for a few minutes complaining about the view being obstructed by camera operators. “We paid a lot of money, please stop the game! You can&#8217t see anything, remove the cameras!” shouted the’man near the edge of the field.

The scene, filmed by tennis enthusiast Georgy Tkachenko and posted on his TikTok profile, immediately went viral, attracting dozens of comments in a short time, dividing between those who expressed solidarity with the spectator and those who, on the other hand, called his reaction, in the middle of the match, exaggerated.

The match between Belgium and France is the first of the four challenges drawn to determine the semifinalists of the 2025 edition of the Davis Cup: on the same side of the scoreboard is Italy-Austria, while on the opposite side are Spain-Czech Republic (with the Spanish team having to give up Carlos Alcaraz in extremis) and Argentina-Germany.

Italy is the holding team of the Davis Cup, having confirmed in 2024 the success of the previous year.

However, this edition will be missing the best Italian player, Jannik Sinner, who decided to take some time off after the ATP Finals in Turin, in which he triumphed by beating Alcaraz himself, to balance the preparation for 2026.
